Shady Cove Campground

This campground gives you a true camping experience out in the woods with its 13 sites that are beautifully dispersed along the creek. There are no reservations so plan on arriving at check in to get a good spot or try a weekday. The campground has a vault toilet and no water. Shady Cove is a beautiful area and perfect location. It puts you minutes away from swimming at Three Pools or hiking to Henline Falls or the many other trails in the area.

Because we went late on a Friday we weren't able to get a campsite. However we found a spot alone road NF 2207. This is the same road the campground is on and is available to camp at undeveloped campsites.  You are allowed to camp further up the road from the campground but not back towards the Three Pools Day Use Area. If you are looking for a true camping experience this one makes you feel one with nature.
