Latourell Falls Hike

Length: 2.4 miles round trip - loop
Elevation Gain: 520 feet
Difficulty: Easy

To hike Latourell Falls, start from the parking lot and follow the trail on the left uphill. Just follow the trail until you get to the bottom of the falls. Once you cross the bridge at the falls, follow the creek for a while and then work your way down the hill. The trail comes out at the highway. We cut across the top of the bridge to our car as the littles were done. If you are still wanting a little more, cross the highway and find a paved trail, which leads you back to the parking lot. This takes you under the bridge and gives you a great last view of the falls.

This was our first hike as a family of five. The littles were 3, 2, and 1 month old at the time, luckily my parents and sister were in town to assist with our adventure.

The lush forest and the many bridges throughout this hike kept things interesting. We ventured around the back of the falls, which was spectacular. There is just something about getting close to a waterfall that I love.
