Drift Creek Falls

Length: 3 miles round trip
Elevation Gain: 490 feet
Difficulty: Easy

Drift Creek Falls is a beautiful hike through coastal forest ending at a suspension bridge and waterfall. At the beginning it is an easy walk downhill to the falls and on the way back you are climbing uphill. The suspension bridge is a 240 foot long bridge that reaches across the 100 foot canyon. Many people stop hiking after the bridge but the trail continues down to the bottom of the waterfall. It might be a little too difficult with little ones.

The suspension bridge is definitely the highlight of this hike. The bridge is a little wobbly, which adds to the excitement, but definitely safe for kids. Carter was overwhelmed with excited, if you can't tell from his facial expression.
