Cleetwood Cove Trail

Length: 2.2 mile round trip
Elevation Gain: 700 feet
Difficulty: Strenuous

Crater Lake is absolutely stunning with the deep blue color and this hike gets you down to the water. Keep in mind that each easy switch back going down is a tough one coming up. Despite the climb, this is a hike worth doing. If you plan on jumping in, go in the afternoon so you can warm up after your cold plunge. Be sure to relax and enjoy the view and at least put your feet in the water before your hike back up.
Don and I both decided to cliff jump into the water, which average temperature is 55 degrees; to say it was a chilly shock would be an understatement. It was worth it (plus my dad took a cool photo of me jumping in).
