Cape Lookout State Park Campground

This campground is located on a sand spit between the ocean and the bay yet you are surrounded by coastal forest. The campground offers a lot in the form of entertainment - evening programs, a junior ranger program, and a self guided nature walk. The campground is well maintained and has flushing toilets, showers, and water.

Our favorite thing about this campground was being on the ocean. A walk away from playing in the sand was perfect. Early one morning we went on the self guided nature walk. With a pamphlet in hand, the kids loved searching for the next nature marker. This part of the coast has so much to offer. The campground was a great central location to check out many other attractions, like Cape Lookout Hike, Tillamook Cheese Factory, Cape Meares Lighthouse, the Octopus Tree, and the largest Sitka Spruce in Oregon.
